Orca is a young producer from the city Grodno, where in 2007 he became interested in electronic music, jungle and rave culture, and started to play deep drum and bass records at local parties. Later he began to organize his own parties in interesting venues such as abandoned military facilities and open air events in the forest. Actively
studying synthesizers, samplers, and in general the production of electronic music began to create his own tracks. In 2015, he arrived to Barcelona and started playing local parties with different promoters and started to release music through Belarusian label YSF, he then joined
the roster of the True Color Records label in which he has his upcoming debut with a new single called “Out of Control”, composed by two very powerful tracks.
Orca’s style is more on the Liquid/Melodic side but with a very deep twist, which you can hear on the two songs compiled on the single, on one hand you have “Out of Control”, a collaboration with Mexican producer and also active part of the True Color crew, Chawer, who got together with Orca in the studios of Microfusa Music Universitiy to play around with different instruments such as a Moog’s Little Phatty
which you can clearly hear in the bass of the track. A powerful dancefloor tune which is aimed to fill the floor upon play.
The second track of the single, “Int Dub”, also has a very deep root with minimal touches but with strong attitude, another floor filler that can be mixed with diverse styles thanks to its manageable bass for that purpose. Clean drums, nice textures and overall serious ambience that makes this debut single by Orca, one of the most
interesting releases on True Color, so far.
